This neighbourhood is known as one of the most quiet ones in Bucharest. But here, there is quite a "fauna". It's the place where thieves, drug dealers and their addicted customers, prostitutes and other shady characters spend their time.
The place where the cache is hidden used to be the place where the informers were spying on the people living nearby while pretending to play backgammon, using the score sheet to write the hours at which people were leaving and comming back home, for the burglers to know when to break into their apartments.
