This is my first cache- it has taken me some time as I didn't want go get the coordinates a long way out as happened last summer with a couple set in the area. Do let me know if it is really yards out!
When I first came to live in the area many years ago an elderly neighbour appeared on the doorstep within weeks proffering a small dish of bilberries. I had collected the fruit in my youth but had forgotten how good it tasted. Subsequently I began to visit this 'patch' every June/July. 2012 was not a prolific year but most years the amount of fruit I gather is limited only by time and the capacity of my freezer. So it is fitting that my first cache is here. From Meltham a good road leads up to the local cemetery- two entrances- one for the C of E and one for the Catholics. The track surface then deteriorates somewhat but is very easy to follow.

If it's not bilberrying time when you visit enjoy the views, walk up the edge and find the other two longstanding caches before dropping down to the catchment or the main road. Congratulations to lemmy on FTF Moved cache 80yds as original position was losing ground cover rapidly in the dry ground and cache had gone again.
