Geocache Description:

OK - no longer Twiggy... Taken, perhaps by an eager dog requesting his owner to play a game... The walk along the Sea Wall from Pilling to Knott End gives, when the weather is clear, amazing views across the Lune Estuary to the Lake District.

This cache is part of a series along the sea wall placed with the permission of Nautral England who look after this amazing Site of Special Scientific Interest.

Stealth is the name of the game here - busy section of the sea wall with plenty of dog walkers and the site is overlooked by houses... Muggles abounding!

The length of the Sea Wall Walk is approximately 2.5 miles end to end (5 miles there and back again)! If you park at either end there is a bus (Number 89 - runs every 2 hours) from the centre of Knott End to Pilling and vice versa. The Pilling stops (either Wheel Lane or The Golden Ball) are still about a 1/2 mile wander to the start of the Sea Wall Walk. Container is a film canister! Please replace carefully!
