NatureWorld Memorial Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ngaambul: As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

Kingfisher Lakes was once the site of a zoo called "NatureWorld Hervey Bay" - here you could pat the Koalas, hold snakes and learn about our wonderful wildlife.  There was also activities like paddle boats on the lake - lots of fun was had until it's closure in the early 21st Century. Many of the animals Including our special kangaroos were moved to Australia Zoo to live happily.

This is a Micro Cache - a small black Bison Tube.  No room for swaps and you will need to bring a pen. *UPDATED 27/07/13 * - Checked on this cache and decided it needed better camo ... so newcomers will find this to be a little more interesting than a plain old bison tube ;) Watch your fingers for bities! :P

While you are in the area, if you have time, please check out our Mystery Cache "The Phoenix" (GC4H8QY) out between River Heads and Torbanlea... it's a beautiful area - we spent a LOT of time an effort on it, but no-one seems to be able to see it due to being "mystery"... worth the look if you have the time! :D
