Geocache Description:

This is an ammo can cache, but the cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. You must solve the puzzle to obtain the coordinates of the final. As the cache name implies, there are 9 Red Herrings in the puzzle.

Can you find all 9? Which puzzle gives you the real coordinates for the final?

Do not attempt from the highway.
This is Red Herring Number 3
This is the location of the posted coordinates.
The posted coordinates will bring you here. The cache is located over 1000' from here but less than a mile.

This is the cache you are seeking.

This is a good old fashioned ammo can geocache.

I stayed in your Lilburn, Georgia, hotel, room 203, from Monday, September 1 through Thursday, September 4. During this stay my towels were consistently dirty, and the bathroom plumbing is faulty. To make matters worse, one of my neighbors was incredibly loud and entertained visitors until 3 A.M. I complained to the Front Desk Manager, Annik Herring, and requested any of a number of other rooms but was told there were no other rooms available. No one from the hotel spoke to my noisy neighbor on my behalf. Despite my repeated complaints, it was not until the third day of my stay that the plumbing was fixed and my towels refreshed. Because of the noise, I was unable to sleep comfortably for two nights, and hence, my business meetings were far more stressful than they needed to be. 57656c6c204920677565737320796f7520666f756e6420612068657861646563696d616c20746f207465787420636f6e7665727465722e20204e6f72746820666f7274792074776f206465677265657320666f727479206d696e7574657320616e642074686972747920656967687420706f696e7420736978207365636f6e64732c20776573742065696768747920666f7572206465677265657320746869727479206d696e7574657320616e64207477656c766520706f696e74206f6e65207365636f6e64732e2020446f20796f75207468696e6b20746869732069732061207265642068657272696e673f20200d0a0d0a

I love Michigan. I've lived here all my life. I've vacationed in other places but I keep coming back to my home state for vacations. One of my favorite places is my cottage near Manton. At an early point in my life I lived in Crystal Springs, then my family moved to Grand Marais. It's a beautiful place but too far to visit very often. Although I did have one very enjoyable visit there on my way to my best friend's wedding in Nisula. Now that is a long way from Mt. Clemens where he grew up smelling the mineral springs.
This is a QR Code.
I went to college at Saginaw Valley State University (minus a degree) and lived across the street on Bay Road. I met my wife when she lived in Lake Odessa. Just don't try to find a lake named Odessa anywhere nearby. We honeymooned near Aloha, but that was not in Hawaii. Our next vacation will be in Trenary. What a beautiful state!
