I have put this cache in a spot near of one of paynesvile funny look houses.
This two-storey brick house, named Sidegarth.
In the 1970s, Neil Oliver built a house overlooking the water.
Built into a sloping block, ground-level entry at the back brings you into the upper level in front, where the prow-shaped living room opens to the ship-railed deck with views over the water
This is Another cache for the Sunset Cove Track series.
I like to start my walk near the shops southern end of The Esplanade.
The LONG WAYPOINT is for a longer walk parking it is a bit over 5 km return to end of the track, this cache is 1.5 km return
for a shorter walk the from sunset cove
The SHORT WAYPOINT for shorter walk parking is about over 3.6 km return to end of the track, this cache is about .3km return
The walk hugs the waterfront and takes you past homes which command water views.
Some owner of these homes have boat sheds along the walk track.
The jetties along the way are fascinating with boats ranging from the very new to some very old relics.
In the evening you can watch the magnificent sunsetting over Newlands Backwater.
Bird watcher sometimes see Honeyeaters, Eastern Whipbird, and waterbirds including Pied Oystercatcher.
