This cache is placed on the edge of the Kinross forest near a power line access road.
I placed this cache because I had several visitors to my house all ask - "What is the strip of land through the trees on the hill to the east?" This site is clearly visible from many parts in Orange and from a distance does look like a reverse mohawk. There are some other caches in the area so why not plan a trip.
Those wanting to make the find by 2WD may need to stop at the Forest sign a take the fairly easy walk of about 400 m to the cache. 4WD can make it all the way. Cache contains a log sheet and pen and I have begun with a toy car to swap. Please return the cache as found.
This container was a gift from "Jabs" before he left Bathurst for Tassie and I have been waiting for the right opportunity to use it.
On the way back from this one there is a good opportunity to view the spillway of Orange's water supply - Suma Park Dam
