The cache is atop a medium sized mountain with fine views over La Oliva and the surrounding area. It is perfect location for a walk along the ridge atop the mountain.
The climb is suitable for older children under supervision. The terrain is quite good for northern Fuerteventura when ascending, it is the descent that is much more difficult. Do not descend in a straight line, be prepared to zigzag down the mountain to find bedrock and relatively stone free areas, it will be worthwhile.
For this reason walking shoes are prefered but the walk can be carried out in stoutly soled trainers.
As with all walking in Fuerteventura, because of the rocky terrain, ALWAYS look where you place your feet, if you wish to admire the scenery, stop walking and plant your feet securely.
Please ensure that the cache is pushed well back into the "cave" and the lid is secured properly.
