A simple Cache close to a bridleway which is suitable for walkers, horse riders and cyclists; we hope you enjoy this cache as part of a short, circular walk suitable for all the family
After finding 100 caches we decided it was time hide one of our own, we hope you enjoy the Woodpecker Wander
Placed between the villages of Alderholt and Cranbourne, this is a small series of 8 Caches perfect for a circular family walk. The terrain is easy and is suitable for all ages, although it can get very muddy at certain times of the year. Most of the caches are placed on or near Bridleways so are suitable for a walk or a bike/horse ride (sadly most are not suitable for prams, pushchairs or wheelchairs)
As for the name; when we placed the first cache we could hear Woodpeckers all around :-)
Woodpecker Wander 3 is a short (uphill) walk from the parking listed as a waypoint, but obviously we would encourage you to explore the rest of the series!
