City of Batesville developed and opened new paths in 2012. As these walkways are linked and interconnected, regardless of starting spot you will discover leisurely strolling in all directions.

Would be tricky to describe exactly where all paved pathways begin, how they loop, and where they end. Generally, trails offer short walks between nearby attractions. To name a few:

1. Lock 'n Dam #1 at Riverside Park

2. Oaklawn Cemetery beside Row Lake (aka Duck Pond)

3. Community Garden plots across from Fitzhugh Park

4. Southerland Park Golf Course

5. Community Center and Aquatic Park

6. Batesville Dog Park

Apparent by cache design, it is mounted about 5 feet from ground level. Easily spoiled by non-cachers so please take time to ensure lock is locked. See hint for combination.
