Another hide along the paved road alongside Piru Lake. The road heads back to Blue Point Campground. We didnt realize it was quite so up and down along the path so when we got to the top, i walked to the highest point towards the lake and set a cache...well almost the highest.. Pretty views, especially if the lake is full. We saw, deer, hawks, squirrel and coyote on the hike, enjoy the scenery.
You are looking for a pill bottle in a natural SPOR. Its cammoed with duct tape. Take a minute and enjoy the vantage point..Follow the well defined trail off the path to the highest point then drift SW...should be a quick find.
