Geocache Description:

Located near the southwest corner of Shawnee Mission Park. What appears on the maps to be more park to the west of this area is actually part of the Mill Creek Streamway trail system. It appears there may be some private property between the two parks at this point, so you cannot head over to the trail from here. There is a trail access point up closer to the lake. The parking closest to this cache is by the tower.

You are looking for a painted quart-size plastic screw-top container that held peanuts or something such. A short hike with some bushwhacking involved. Please rehide as well, or better than you found it.

Of course, there were no ticks, snakes or PI there when we hid it in January, but any or all of them will probably be there in abundance come warm weather.

Park hours are 6:00am - 8pm for November thru February; and 5am - 11pm for March thru October.
