Supporting America’s troops is the first mission of this organization. In 1941, as it became clear that the nation was heading into World War II, several organizations mobilized to support the growing U.S. military. President Franklin D. Roosevelt created synergy among these agencies by forming this organization, with the objective of providing the emotional support the troops needed.

Bob Hope led many tours with this organization during WW II. Today soldiers can find one at almost every major airport in the U.S. and they can go there for a snack, coffee, or just a place to relax between flights. The people that work there are volunteers and do a wonderful job of providing a great service.

While you are here take the time to thank the folks that are here providing the entertainment and connectivity to home.

Good luck and happy hunting

Remember, it is all about the miles and the smiles!
