To my surprise, there was no cache anywhere near this rather nice tourist location, a situation that just cried out to be remedied. Thus we placed the one nano we had with us here.
Getting there
The Damnoern Saduak Floating Market is about 1.5 hours west of Bangkok, which may take 1 to 2 hours drive, depending on traffic conditions. You may want to self-drive, hire a cab or join a tour group
There are many boat landings in this area, and which one you end-up at likely depends on the tour operator or whichever local operator your taxi-driver knows and shares his deals with, so you may not have much choice in the matter. Hence we did not place the cache at a specific boat-landing but inside the market itself, for everyone to get a reasonable go at it w/o having to ask for special favours
Accessing The Cache
To access the cache, you will need to enter the Floating Market. To my knowledge, that is only possible by boat, which for most folks will mean hiring one of the tourist boats. Locals of course might have their own, but they'd have to be very local for that
Use your GPS to get near the cache. Find the corner-shop at the far side of the market. (see spoiler picture A). Stop here and disembark from your boat. You won't have to purchase anything, just browse. The cache itself is located at the far side , just outside the shop.
When you get a good view of the shrine, you are almost there
