Geocache Description:

This is a challenge cache! The cache is at the posted coordinates, but you must meet one of the requirements specified below BEFORE you can log this as a find.

I love to travel and Europe is great for seeing a lot without spending a full day on a plane first. I feel train is the best way to get around, but a lot of people would probably disagree as having a car will give access to a lot bigger selection of caches ;) To accommodate for different objectives for travelling, I have given a few different options for qualifying




In order to qualify you have to fulfill at least one of these requirements:
  • You have found a cache in 10 european countries (1)
  • You have found a cache in 5 european countries in under a month (1) (2)
  • You found 3 different cache types in each of 8 distinct european countries (1)

(1) The "countries" listed by groundspeak DOES NOT count here (for instance: faroe islands and denmark count as 1. You can select any of these to count as denmark). A complete list of valid countries can be found here
(2) Doesn't need to be a calendar month (for instance use 10.07 - 10.08). Countries you have visited before can be included by logging a new find in the qualifying month

Please note the following rule: Turkey: The area to the west of the Bosphoros strait counts as Europe and the area to the east counts as Asia. Russia: The area to the west of the Ural mountains counts as Europe

Don't physically log this cache until AFTER you have completed one of the requirements. Please add a list of caches (or screenshot of the geocaching.com profile statistics page) and indicate which requirement you have achieved. I reserve the right to delete logs without notification if anyone doesn't follow the rules. Please note that locationless caches doesn't count.

Disclaimer: Please note that tree climbing is done at your own risk. Make sure you have a firm grip and that you select solid branches. Best to bring the container to the ground to do the logging. The tree has not been properly tested for all loads :)
