This cache is placed to coincide with Pi Day (March 14).
Pi Day (March 14) may be written as 3/14 which is similar to 3.14 which is the decimal approximation to the mathematical constant pi. Pi is defined as the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter and was known to the early Egyptians and Greeks. Pi is now known to be an irrational number and can only be approximated by either a decimal or a fraction.
This is my first nano cache.
