This is my first Multi-Cache. This is a four stage Multi-Cache. YOU
MAY WANT TO START THIS EARLIER IN THE DAY. ALLOWING FOR HIKE AT THE
END PART OF THE CACHE. This one may be a little more of a challenge
than my other four Caches. For those of you still learning your GPS
units, it will give you practice to manually enter Coordinates into
your units. A CAUTION NOTE: The total distance for this Multi-Cache
is approximately 11 miles one way. The use of a vehicle is
recommended, but you can hike, run or ride your bike if you feel
the need for that much exercise. WHERE you park for each stop can
be obvious but that will be up to you. The end location will have a
couple of parking options, then you WILL NEED to hike and climb.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR DOGS OR YOUNG CHILDREN. SEE PHOTO FOR ELEVATION
CLUE.
PLEASE USE CAUTION: I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT
THERE ARE RATTLE SNAKES IN THIS AREA. PLEASE USE PROPER JUDGEMENT
WHEN WALKING AND REACHING IN CERTAIN AREAS. RESPECT NATURE. DO NOT
KILL THE SNAKES, WATCH FOR AND AVOID THEM
PLEASE.
- First Step: Print out the INSTRUCTIONS & WORKSHEET and
bring it along with a pencil on the hunt.
- Second Step: Proceed to the cords.
- Third Step: Use the worksheet and the clues to get your next
COORDINATES.
- Repeat steps 2 & 3 until you locate the "Search 4 Gold"
Cache.
The first three stops should be easy.
Because the final leg of this cache is a little more
challenging, The final Cache?s contents are not your basic Cache
items. It is filled with a variety of higher end goodies. The first
few that make it there will have some Pretty Nice Goodies to choose
from. I do ask that you be nice to others and only take one of the
better items and then the smaller items if you are with a
group.
Also included is a disposable camera. When you visit the Cache,
take a photo of yourself and note the exposure number with the
included camera log and in the log book. Once the camera is full,
the last person can seal it within the included envelope and return
it to me. I will then develop the film and post the photos here on
the cache page for all to see.
Good Luck, and please let me know how you truly like or dislike
this one. It is my first Multi-Cache. I do not know if I did it in
the true Sport of the Game
NOT RECOMMENDED THAT THIS BE ATTEMPTED IN THE DARK.. YOU MAY
WANT TO START THIS EARLIER IN THE DAY
