Geocache Description:


This cache is located inside the Hororata Reserve a large area containing an Equestrian Cross Country Course and the Hororata Commemerative walk.

The most direct route to the cache is through a gate on the main road. The gates are open for vehicles 8am - 9pm in summer and 8am - 6 pm in winter. There are other entrances to the race course area which will also take you there.
At the end of the driveway is a childrens play area and public toilets. From there you will have to join the  marked  trail to the cache site. Along the route you will see a variety of horse jumps and a manmade lake.

Please look out for horses if they are present during your visit.

The cache is a 400ml camo sistema containing logbook, stashnote, pencil and a few swops.
