Geocache Description:


This cache is located along a lonely desert road near the Cargo Muchacho Mountains.

Millard Fillmore was the 13th President of the United States.

Here are some interesting facts:
1.  He was the third and last member of the Whig Party to become President.
2.  He later ran for president again as a member of the anti-Irish "Know Nothing Party" and lost.
3.  He founded the University of Buffalo.
4.  He did not attend school as a child and could not read until later.
5.  The French Dictator, Napolen, tried to annex Hawaii but Fillmore wrote to him clearly that the US would not allow such an event.
