The weekend of April 20-21 is International Cache In Trash Out Weekend, so to celebrate, we're hosting our first CITO event!
We'll meet at the Casner rest area on US Route 36 at 1:00pm. This historic picnic spot is situated at the intersection of US 36 and Coffee Pot Circle, and old alignment of the highway that dates back to the 1920's-30's. This small park could really use some attention and the more cachers that show up, the easier it will be! As a bonus, there is a traditional cache located nearby that you can find while you're here. Plus, you'll get a souvenir icon on your geocaching profile for logging an "Attended" on a CITO event this weekend.
The county will provide trash bags and we will provide latex gloves and bottled water, so all you need to bring is yourself. Feel free to come and help for as much or as little time as you are able! Please post a "Will Attend" so we know how many to expect. See you then!
