Geocache Description:



This event is part of the tenth World Wide Flash Mob. Thousands of geocachers will come together at dozens of events around the globe, all gathering at exactly the same time.

This event is only 15 minutes long! You MUST be present and sign a log sheet DURING this time to claim the event.

This WWFM will take place on Saturday May 4th 2013 at 18:00hrs in the square in Market Harborough

As the Flashmob is on May the fourth - Star Wars day - The theme for this Flashmob is Star Wars based

Silly Lightsabers

So please bring along a 'Lightsaber' If you don't own one then it can be homemade or just improvise and use anything that is roughly the right shape ie a Cucumber? Baguette? (nothing sharp or too hard though - we don't want anyone injured!) and then we will wave them around and have 'battles'
If you feel like dressing up as a Star Wars character, that would be cool (but no need to if you don't want!)
*There will be a prize of an unactivated TB for the best/silliest outfit/lightsaber*
There will also be a FTF prize for the first name pulled out of the hat
*Please bring along a piece of paper with your caching name and number of people in your group*

Provisional Timetable -
 Before 18:00 - Please try and remain inconspicuous - so as not to attract the attention of passing Muggles!

18:00 - When the church clock (hopefully) strikes 6pm, myself and a (un)willing volunteer will enter the square and begin a light saber battle... everyone should then gradually appear as if from nowhere and join in the Lightsaber 'battle' (no body contact and be gentle please - we don't want anyone hurt!)

18:05 - At the sound of the whistle 'Battle' to cease, please bow to your opponent(s) and say either "may the force be with you" or "come to the dark side" depending on whose side you are on! Then everyone to point their Lightsabers in the air and cheer!
Then please put the paper with your caching name and the number of people in your group in the top hat provided

18:10 - All gather around for the official WWFM group photo, the FTF will then be drawn out of the hat and prize given for best costume

18:15 - Please leave the square in a disorderly fashion - leaving passing Muggles wondering what the heck has been going on!!!

Tea and cookies will be served in the room above the historic Old Grammar School after the Flashmob - see additional waypoint for location
