This isn't a long hike, but it is extremely hilly. Might be a little taxing for young children. Wouldn't recommend carrying them on this one either. Depending on weather conditions and time of year the difficulties could swing from 2.5 to 3.5.
This is a multi cache; the coordinates will take you to the parking area. After you complete the cache spend some extra time in this area. It is beautiful and very rarely used. Original cache contents include; stained glass geocaching emblem for the first finders provided by Betty of Team Cachebarr...thanks Betty!, Led Zeppelin cd, Geocaching Warrior travel bug, Yosemite Sam pez dispenser, giant paper clip, geocaching letter, wisc. state bowling assoc. leather money clip, california raisins band (complete set), california raisin felt doll, mexican metal figurine, plastic spider, and a stuffed teddy bear as well as a log, pencil and sharpener. All these goodies are packed into an ammo box labeled as a geocache.
