Geocache Description:

*The whole of the gorge is very hilly and quietly challenging also rocky under foot NOT FOR THE FAINT HARTED*

Ebbor Gorge NNR is a limestone gorge in Somerset, close to Wells, its a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Various caves within the gorge were inhabited by neolithic people.

The site offers views across the Somerset levels to Glastonbury Tor and beyond.

But what a great walk!

**All Ebbor cache's are along the path, you will not need to leave the pathway to find them** The whole red route walk is 2km, so please allow 1h. From the info board in the car park follow the red "Gorge Scamble" route down the steps and count the steps as you go. There's a clue in the name. GZ is very obvious

My coordinates may be a little out due to the high cliffs and thick canopy, please bare this in mind and STICK TO THE PATH
