Geocache Description:

This is a 5 star difficulty cache. It will be difficult and challenging. Some climbing will be required. Always be safe, use appropriate equipment if needed and do not attempt anything where you are not 100% confident of your abilities.

This cache highlights the Bendigo creek. The creek starts south from here at Big Hill at an elevation of 287m. It flows northward literally right through the heart of Bendigo. While standing at the posted coordinates look south-west along the creek, you will be able to see right under the CBD! These coordinates are also where you will begin your adventure.

To complete this cache you will need to answer 6 easy questions.

Question A -
At the starting coordinates there is a green signpost with several signs pointing in different directions.
A= The amount of letters on the top sign (on one side only)

Most of the girders used in the construction of this Bridge where produced by Dorman Long & Co who also made steel components used on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Using information found on the bridge, where in England is Dorman Long & Co?
B=number of letters in the name.

Question C  
Go to: S 36° 45.938 E 144° 16.207

A small plaque placed on this bridge by Bendigo Mining mentions the water pipeline running along the creek bed.
C=the last 4 digits of the last phone number on the plaque.

Question D  
Go to: S 36° 45.796 E 144° 16.440

The street that crosses the creek here is named after a flowering tree.
D= How many letters in the name of the tree?

Question E  
Go to: S 36° 45.185 E 144° 17.092

E= How many vertical columns support this bridge underneath?

Question F
Go to: S 36° 44.162 E 144° 17.842

The handrails of this pedestrian bridge contain a lot of large wooden X's.
F = the amount of X's? (both handrails)
