Another small airport, designated 40XS.
This airport is located right in the middle of a housing division just off Parmer Lane. The airport pre-dates most of the houses. As I understand it, the location was intended to be a place where pilots could land and park their planes adjacent to their houses, but the area has grown. There are 18 single engine aircraft listed as being based here. The runway is 3000 feet in length, and I think has been paved for only a few years, being grass before that. The cache is not on airport property, and has been located in the one area not in plain sight of all the surrounding houses.
I have a friend that had a half-interest in a Cessna that was based here. Nearby to the south is Brushy Creek Hike and Bike Trail, which is a 15 mile round-trip ride on mixed surfaces. I'm out here for that several times a month.
