In the grand tradition of hiding an Ammo Can to recognize the finding of 1,000 caches, we and all of our fellow cachers would like to acknowledge and celebrate Troutonthebrain's great achievement with the placement of this cache.

When you’re young and dedicated you have a lifetime for perfecting your craft. Troutonthebrain is already nearly there when it comes to geocaching. Along with his dad, mnfishnutz, he has hidden some of the best caches in the west metro area. We admire his creativity, innovation and sense of humor—we are never disappointed, except when the hide is so good we can’t find it! But that’s all part of the game and we always enjoy the search regardless of the outcome. Troutonthebrain was one of the first geocachers we met and we are so glad to call him a friend. I remember trying to find a cache with you, your sister and your Dad...you guys were pros at making the hard finds, and now you are pros at creating great hides and putting on the best FTF events. Dear Mr. Troutonthebrain or may I call you...Trout! You started geocaching about the same time I did and from the smiles on your profile page, you have enjoyed geocaching as much as I have. I've loved your caches from the start....All about Trout was a great one. You then went on to have the Cacheman series. I think you may have single handedly helped all of us cachers defeat the terrible "Doctor Muggle or was it Mr. Muggle!" Which ever it was, thank you for saving our caches. And now as your father gets older (wink,wink) I'm sure that you'll be there to help him hide caches in the future. You've grown into a great geocacher over the years and I just want to congratulate you on 1,000 finds!!! Way to go! mikedeotis

Troutonthebrain, in addition to having one of the coolest caching names ever, is a wonderful person and a great addition to the caching community. It's been fun to watch him grow up over the past few years. I remember when he was just starting out, and hid some of his first caches on his own. And now he's programming Wherigos!
