I am doing a series to showcase some great quotes and offer up some trivia about Yogi Berra. Over the years I have smiled and laughed at many of his quotes, even though he claims, "I never said most of the things I said". So, just who is this Yogi Berra, that's what I hope to share with the series?

Lawrence Peter Berra was born on May 12, 1925 in St. Louis, Mo. He got the name Yogi from childhood friend Bobby Hoffman while they were watching a movie about a snake charmer and thought he resembled the Hindu yogi.

The Cache
