Geocache Description:

Come join us in a short event that is part of the

World Wide Flash Mob X!

Since we will be meeting with a band,

bring your favorite musical instrument to help us

Strike Up The Band!

This event is coordinated to be part of the tenth WWFM (World Wide Flash Mob) event Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 1200 and is synchronized with other events like this worldwide. Those attending any of these events will receive a special WWFMX souvenir from GroundSpeak on your profile page.

flash mob (FLASH mawb) n. A large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform something unusual for a brief period of time, and then quickly disperse. --v., --adj.

This Event is only 15 MINUTES long!! You MUST be present and drop a 3X5 index card with your name on it into the ammo can during this time period to claim the event.

At 1200 The event will be held with the resident musicians adjacent to the above coordinates.
At 1205 Social minutes begin and we will play some insane music with the instruments we all bring!

At 1210 We will draw two slips of paper out of the ammo can:
1) Gets FTF
2) Gets an unactivated TB as a door prize
At 1212 We'll have a group photo taken for posterity.
At 1215 The event is over, and everyone must leave the area immediately.

History:   Sonny and Sandy of the PodCacher podcast came up with the WWFM idea in 2007 after attending a mega-event. It was meant to be a fun “opposite” of a mega-event: all the cool aspects of a geocaching event, crammed into 15 minutes of excitement. An added dimension is represented by the letters "WW" - World Wide - these events occur across the planet on the same day at (mostly) the same time! These caching events are intended to bring geocachers together in a creative way, as well as introduce others (newbies) to the hobby..

TRIVIA from WWFM-IX in June 2012:
*312 total events world-wide
*31 different countries
*15487 Attendees
*141 U.S. events in 48 states and territorities
*28 Canadian events in 10 provinces
(all coordinated to occur at the same time)
