Parking Coordinate P1 is for the New Trailhead / Parking and makes for an easier hike up the Coxheath Hills to the Pittman Lodge and the North Loop Trail. The cabin is open year round for rest and warmth. Sign their log book and say thanks. Ice grippers and snow shoes are useful in winter.
Take some seed for the birds and squirrels and a bit of food and drink for yourself.
Slow down and enjoy your dayhike
