Geocache Description:

The Bourbeuse River meanders through much of Franklin County.   Before starting to geocache, I enjoyed floating the river with my good friend from church, Bob.    He grew up in Franklin county and I know has fished this river far more times than I have been out caching, but I am trying to "catch" up (pardon the pun)!

This is the sister cache to the one nearby called Smallmouth Bass.     I've had this particular container for nearly 40 years.    I have used it for all favoirite hobbies at one time another (i.e., stamp collecting as a child, baseball cards as an early adult, and now geocaching as an ... older adult).    I am now releasing it into the wild to be enjoyed by hopefully many others.    You are looking for  a lockable container just a little smaller than a ammo box.    I started it out with a logbook, pen, and some swag.    There is room for some TB's and coins.   There is plenty of good parking close by but please park on the west side of the cache (the direction the sun sets) and not on the highway next to the guard rail.    Happy caching!
