This cache is part of the Petrie Island Paddling Series set up to encourage people to take their human-powered water vessels (canoe, kayak, dingie) for a quick paddle. The entire series will take you on a 5km round-trip which covers the length of Petrie Island.
The waterways are usually sheltered from the wind and there is no real current. Just lots of beavers, birds, fish, frogs, turtles and beautiful scenery! Come out and enjoy!
The caches are available only between 5am and 9pm. There is a $2 parking charge until 6pm.
Canoes are available for rent in the area. Contact me for information.
Please replace the cache carefully. Don't let it fall down the hole.
