Bertha Brock Park Cache-o-rama version 11. Event Cache
friendsofBBP: Thank you to everyone who attended this event. We enjoyed hosting it and we look forward to seeing everyone next year! We've reserved the front pavilion for the day so we'll have grass for the micros to play on. We'll wander over to the campground after supper for a campfire.

Join us again for one of Michigans longest running cache events. A day of cache activites followed by a now famous potluck dinner and campfire social time.
More information to follow.
A day of caching designed for all types. Opporunites to cache local caches, a night cache in the park, and at supper time we'll enjoy a wonderful potluck dinner and socializing with new and old cachers of all walks. The social time is quite popular, and goes rain or shine!
We're having an event at Bertha Brock Park on M21 west of Ionia! We hope that many of you will be able to attend. We had planned to place caches in a wide variety of places, but due to current gas prices (which of course COULD change by next week) we have decided to place our caches in close proximity to the park. We will have 10-15 new caches in place in the park and in the nearby communities of Ionia and Saranac. Schedule of events on July 13, Saturday: 1:00 – welcome everyone, hand out the list of new caches and explain how everything works. Everyone who attends will be entered in a drawing, but we will also have separate prizes for those who collect clues from certain caches (and yes, we'll let you know which ones they are in case you only care to do those). 5:30 – Reconvene at Bertha Brock Park. Turn in your clues and register for drawings. 6:00 – Potluck dinner. Please bring a dish or two to pass and whatever you would like to drink. We will provide paper plates, cups, napkins, and silverware. 6:30 – or when everyone has had a chance to get something to eat, we will do the drawings. 7:00 and on – Campfire time and as the evening progresses there will be some adult beverages. *There is a suggested $2 donation for entering the park. There is an unmanned booth near the entrance that has a place to put your money. It's a beautiful, old park that was constructed during the Great Depression and if you could throw a dollar or two in the pot when you enter that would be very helpful. Thanks!
