Access: Roxbury Land Trust parking area off Botsford Hill Road. Follow split-rail fence to opening near interior blue gate to access the old railroad bed and the Kress Family Trail. This trail connects to the River Road, Erbacher and Golden Harvest Preserves.
Features: Working farming. Views. Historic railroad bed along Shepaug River.
Lovely flat trail running along a railroad bed. Shaded with views of the Shepaug River. Look for kingfishers along the water. Beautiful rocky knolls on the river side of the trail. :)
