Geocache Description:


This cache links the other three caches I have placed to the conduit caches north of Wessendenhead Road.
My friend's father worked for Huddersfield Corporation Water Works HCWW, and in the 60's and 70's remembered men being sent out to keep these conduits clear of weeds, rushes etc. What a job it would be now!
The conduits are known by Melthamers as catchments or 'the catch'. FTF Congratulations to Slawit the early bird
