Archie was a curious child, into all things revolving around roadways and construction. For months, he eagerly watched with growing excitement the progress made on the North/South Freeway. He enjoyed venturing out from the previous parking area provided on Freya near this location to meander down the Foot/Bike Path, and was crushed when it was demolished. Then the most amazing thing happened, a new parking area was constructed and soon opened to the public! Archie was once again thrilled and couldn't wait until the snow melted so he could convince others in the family to go for a bike ride.
On their first outting, Archie stopped at a location that offered him the feeling of height, and gave him a great vantage point in all directions. An American flag was flying to the west, and a local landmark was soaring high to the east. After standing there for many minutes, his eyes lit up and he said, "There! We should put a cache there!"
"Why there?" the other family members asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" he answered. "It's my namesake!"
After Mommy looked at what had sparked his interest, she declared he was absolutely correct. Archie won round one, and this hide was born.
The trail itself is handicachable (without snow), but it's due to the actual retrieval that this is made a 1.5. Of course, if the handicacher isn't alone it's definitely doable. Parking coordinates are provided, so please access this from the trail! There's *no need* to park illegally anywhere.
Please make sure the container snaps ("clicks") shut securely so nothing is dropped.
