This is our first Geocache and has been created with the help of the Geokids. We have placed this cache in a little used part of the Island!!
St. Mary's Island is a large residential estate with some fantastic parks, walks and bikerides. While you are here collect a few local caches and spend some time enjoying this lovely environment.
The nearest car park will be the local Community Centre. The car park is small but free. The cache is about a 10 min walk from here. The Community Centre is a good start point for a walk or a ride around the Island to take in this unique and lovely environment.
The cache is along one of the well maintained paths that cut through and around the Island. However the cache is a few meters off the main path which will reduce the access for the differently abled. It cannot be access from a wheelchair, but parents with pushchairs should have no problem!
The cache contains swaps organised by the Geokids, log and a pencil.
This is one of the quieter areas of the Island but there are mugggles about...take care!!!
