Geocache Description:

A nice bike ride or walk by the river

As the title says, this cache is beside the river Caldew and can be reached by using the cycle path that runs between Carlisle and Dalston. If you prefer to do this as a drive by you can park at N54 51.075    W002 58.594 beside the B 5299 known locally as Dalston Rd.
    From this parking place walk in a northerly direction a short distance to a road / track on your right which is also a public footpath and this takes you to the cycle path and the river where you will find the cache.    As this cache is beside a river please keep an eye on any young children that may be with you !
   The cache is a small tupperware type lock & lock container with a log book and a few swaps with room for a TB if anyone wants to drop one off
