Some parking is available at the park or you can park at Atlantic Beach City Hall just across the street. Park is open Sunrise to Sunset. A gorgeous park, well maintained, coquina shell trails, boardwalks and bridges.
A CACHE TO EAGLE series cache. The cache is located at or near a project that Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scouts have done for the community. The project in Howell Park was BAFFLE BOXES. As you walk the trails in the park you will see information post that will direct your attention to a specific plant or animal. The information posts or markers were designed and built under the leadership and guidance of an Eagle Scout and his team of helpers.
Northeast of this location at the east end of 12th and 13th Street you will see two bicycle racks and landscaping that was done by another Eagle Scout and his team.
At Atlantic Beach Elementary on the track side you will be able to see a Gazebo that was built by an Eagle Scout. If you see an Eagle Scout give him a Big THANK YOU!
