Geocache Description:

Some of my favorite people once said "LOOK, A BRIDGE!!" Oddly enough, I have a favorite bridge memory which comes from my favorite bear...Winnie. He had such a firm grasp on the world, usually without knowing it, which is probably why I love him so much!

“Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.”
~Winnie the Pooh

The story goes like this. My favorite bear is walking with his friends Christopher Robin, Eeyore, and Tigger. Pooh accidently drops a pinecone over the side of the bridge and a new game is born. Poohsticks is first mentioned in The House at Pooh Corner, a Winnie-the-Pooh book by A. A. Milne. It is a simple sport which may be played on any bridge over running water; each player drops a stick on the upstream side of a bridge and the one whose stick first appears on the downstream side is the winner.

We started Geocaching on accident, a fallen pine cone if you will. We learned the rules and are having a blast playing our new game with all of our favorite new people!!

Note: I would suggest NOT getting this on a K-State home football game day. This little stretch of road gets crazy!!!

Congrats to molar one on the FTF.
