Welcome to Playa Zancudo! We've been coming here since 1999; too many times to count. And since there's a shortage of Geocaches in Costa Rica I am hosting this simple cache series. This one is next to a Zancudo Institution.
Playa Zancudo is a fantastic out of the way escape destination. I come here to reset. The beach is long, flat, and deserted. The houses and cabinas are private and awesome.
This cache is a simple hide. I want you to find the cache, so please contact me if you have any issues finding it, or for a blatant hint before attempting. You've come all this way, you deserve a smiley. You'll want to search "up" a bit, and watch your footing on the mound. Also, watch the canopy for monkeys, and the underbrush for lizards. Hopefully it will last but this is a hostile climate. I have arranged with a local business owner to help perform maintenance on the cache should the need arise. They will be able to replace the container should it get lost or destroyed. I will be able to perform maintenance on it myself yearly. Hint and picture is a dead giveaway. In case this container gets lost or destroyed, a picture of yourself at the sign counts as a find! it is a magnetic bolt cache!
