A nice straightforward little box to find as you walk round the Ingarsby cache circuit , which came about due to teamwork :one thinker , one walker !
As this is a letterbox hybrid , there is an (inexpertly) hand made stamp in the box , along with a felt pen with which to ink it , as well as the log book and a biro. Please do not take the stamp or pens , they are not swaps !
This cache is one of a series around the area and may contain a part of the opening instructions and a letter to help calculate the co-ordinates of the bonus cache , GC3WDW2 "You have got to be kidding". Please do not remove this information – take a note of it and leave it for the next cacher to find.
Letterbox caches long pre-date GPS systems ( beginning on Dartmoor in 1854 ) Traditionally verbal descriptions steer letterboxers to containers with rubber stamps in them .
The recording system is that you use the in-box stamp to stamp your own record book , and use your personal stamp (which you carry with you) to endorse the logbook in the box . Letterboxes do not typically contain swaps .
We would like this letterbox hybrid to stay as close as possible to type , not just be a traditional cache with a different icon , so please add a stamp , sticker or little drawing of your own to your name & date in the log book , and feel free to use the resident stamp to mark your notebook . Trackables are fine , but please leave swaps in one of the other suitable caches around the circuit .
