Fred's Walk #3 (Manawatu) Traditional Cache

Frederick Krull Reserve is a 1.6 km long track through Kelvin Grove from Roberts Line to James Line. There are 6 caches in this series plus the final. At each one you will need to collect a number that will form the co-ordinates for the final cache.

It is mostly a well formed limestone track however, there is a small section that is just grass (cache 5). After the final cache you can walk a short distance up James Line and return to your car by walking down Parnell Heights. This entire loop would be 3.8 km. There are many access points to this track you can park near however the intention is that you would walk the track in its entirety (hence the many caches close together), make it a family outing one afternoon and take a picnic.

From Freds Walk #2 continue along the track. This is a dog off leash area so due care should be taken but they are generally well behaved whilst taking their muggle owners for a walk.
