Geocache Description:

Our kids love Dinosaur Train. So when I saw PBS Dinosaur Train Geocaching, I figured we should jump aboard! Our daughter's recent favorite dinosaur is the Spinosaurus, so she picked it for this cache.


Spinosaurus

Meaning: Spine Lizard
Height: 41 to 59 feet
Weight: 7 to 20.9 tons
Home: The Great Misty Sea- Africa
Time: Cretaceous Period
Diet: Carnivore- Fish

At the end of each Dinosaur Train episode, Dr. Scott encourages young viewers to: "Get outside, get into nature and make your own discoveries!" Now we challenge you to do the same. Be sure to tell us what your favorite dinosaur is, and if you saw any interesting plants, flowers, birds, or animals on the trail.
