Geocache Description:

Another park in Salem in need of a geocache.  The cache is located inside the boundaries of Rees City Park.  There should be no need to climb a fence or a tree, or go onto private property to find it.  Please practice stealth and rehide just as you found it so it doesn't get muggled again.

Congrats to EPH289DL and 4Rfun for the FTF!

Rees City Park is one of many nice parks scattered throughout Salem.  For a while, I tried to find a new park every day to take my kids.  I thought this would be a fun way to explore Salem and a free way to give the kids some excersize.  How many parks could there really be?  We should get a good two weeks of park adventures before running out of new places.  Little did I know that there are 57 parks in the capitol.  The daily park runs eventually started to be weekly park runs to conserve on gas.  There are still a few we haven't visited and it's always nice to find one without a cache nearby.

While I was hiding this cache, my two eldest Daughters Riley and Brisa deided to start talking to a nearby tree.  They named it Mr. Happy and shook his hand (a branch hanging down in a welcoming way).  I asked them what the cache title should be so there you go: Mr. Happy Cache.  So say hi to Mr. Happy as you search for this one.

This park is on  1.25 acres and has plenty of trees for dogs to pee on.  There are also a few places where someone could hide a cache.  please be stealthy so it doesn't get muggled.  You are looking for a small sized water bottle.  It is on the park side of the fence, so no need to go into anyone's yard.  Please let me know if the coords are good; the trees like to make me do the drunken bee dance :)  FTF prize is a micro container.  Happy hunting!
