This cache is located in an area, that we would walk with our dog.Take the high ground to get to the cache area.We decided to place a cache, in his honor.We sure miss him! Thanks Bo for touching our hearts and loving us,as we loved you! Written permission was granted to place this cache,by state park management.
We never intended to keep him,so giving him the name Hobo, was appropriate.On a bicycle trip,I found this dog,(we found each other) with broken bones,starved and a broken spirit.We decided to get him better, and the Animal Welfare, would find him a good home.The day came to say goodbye and turn him over to the Animal Welfare ,and Mrs.Hiney couldn't let him go, he had come to trust, that he was safe and loved with us.Well in the end,we had to buy him back,which we gladly did.Hobo (BO) as we also called him, became one of the great joys in our lives,for the next 11 years. He was my faithful hiking buddy and companion. I started Geo-caching,looking for something to fill that need(void), to be out with nature,hiking,biking and finding new places,always thinking of how Hobo came into our lives.You never know when you could be called, to help one of God's creatures in the woods,and how it can change your life.
