Geocache Description:

This is a cache in a great location just west of forest road 333 in the Sandia foothills area....off far northeast Tramway Blvd. There is a $3 fee to park in this area of the Cibola National Forest. I have the co-ordinates of the parking location I used to access the cache listed here.

Parking is at: N 35 13.002 W 106 29.245

I had never been in this exact area of the Sandias and was really surprised how beautiful it was. Great hiking, great views of the Shield area of the Sandia mountains....and most surprising was the nice view to the south of Albuquerque thru the canyon area. Well, I called it a valley. :-) Which is why I called this the "Big Valley" cache. When you get there....you'll see the view I'm talking about. Take a picture if your able, and submit it with your log note. I took some great shots too, and a video I wanted to include a link to with this new cache but my %*&^$# SD card in my camera screwed up on me.
The cache is an ammo box....with a "First to Find" prize. I have this thing stocked full of stuff when I placed it today. Stocked......and I'm serious as a heart attack. You'll see.
Happy hunting, happy hiking, happy geocaching....and stay safe.
