I CITO ... Do You?

Well it is that time of year again, time to get out there & clean up one of the sections of highway that the Iowa Geocachers' have adopted as part of the Iowa's Adopt-A-Highway program. The section that we will be working on is, US Hwy 151 (between Mount Vernon Rd & Blaines Crossing). There are signs along the highway, indicating which section of roadway that the "Iowa Geocachers Organization" has adopted.

The CITO event is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm. We will be meeting in the parking lot for the Third Base Sports Park, across from the Casey's on Mt Vernon Rd. After some brief instructions, we will be splitting up in to smaller groups to start picking up the trash. I am estimating that we can have this section cleaned in about three hours. The more people that come out & help out, the faster it will go for all. Please bring gloves and any special tools you may have for picking up trash.

Since the Iowa DOT requires that all participants wear a safety vests (which they will be providing), in your "Will Attend" please provide me with a number in your group.

Following this event, will be a Meet & Greet in Marion event at the Pizza Ranch.
