History of Las Flores Canyon
"In Las Flores Canyon, at an elevation of about 2,300 feet above sea level, is the most extensive opening that has ever been made into this Pasadena mineral vein. It has been traced here for about a mile, and claims staked at every available point, their recorded names being Golden Star, Jesse Marie, Altadena, Pasadena, Monitor, and Bald Eagle." - Hiram A.
