THSR Hsinchu Station (高鐵新竹站) is an elevated station of Taiwan High Speed Rail located in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County.
In February 2013, a special country event - 2013 Taiwan Lantern Festival has been held at this place. Over 10 million people visited this place during the two weeks event. This cache was set up at the first day of event. It is in a small park near the HSR station to welcome all visitors to Hsinchu.
During the festival event, this cache was surrounded by thousands of beautiful different lanterns. Now, it is a peace and quite place. It will take you five minute walk from the station.
This cache is a 8 x 6 x 3 (cm) plastic box. Please bring your own pen to sign the log book.
