Rosemarkie is a lovely wee village on the Black Isle in the Highlands of Bonnie Scotland. Every year just before or after Easter, the Community Council and Ammenities Association organise a beach clean in preparation for the holiday season and the many visitors to the village and those passing through to other parts of the Black Isle. This is the first year it has been turned into a CITO event.
Please meet at the beach cafe next to the childrens play area, which is just along from the published co ordinates at 09:30am. You will then be given your instructions. We will have a limited supply of litter pickers, gloves and black bags. If you can manage to bring your own gloves, that would help. There is a specific area for the geocachers to clean. This is the area around the beach cafe and just slightly further along on both sides. Usually this takes just over an hour.
In previous years, the cafe has supplied free bacon rolls and coffee for those picking up the litter so lets hope this year will be the same.
I realise it is an early start but it will give you a chance to do more caching afterwards!
